The book of Hebrews
Even though the author of Hebrews is unknown, it is evident that it was written to encourage Christians in a time of great trial and struggle. Through Hebrews we learn how to appreciate the Old Testament more deeply and apply it to our lives. It also deepens our assurance of the absolute supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus Christ who accomplished complete salvation for all who trust in Him. Morning Men's Bible Study | Thurs. 7:00 AM | Bakery By the Lake
Starting in August the Morning Men's Bible Study will be diving into the Book of Isaiah. Isaiah prophesied from 739–681 BC to a nation that had turned a deaf ear to the Lord. Instead of serving Him with humility and offering love to their neighbors, the nation of Judah offered meaningless sacrifices in God’s temple at Jerusalem and committed injustices throughout the nation. The book of Isaiah provides us with the most comprehensive prophetic picture of Jesus Christ in the entire Old Testament. In addition to its gospel message, the book of Isaiah clearly articulates the sins of God’s people—dealing with others unjustly which resulted in their offering hypocritical sacrifices to God. Contact Mike if you need more information, 208-664-9231.
LifeLight for Ladies | Fri. 10:30 AM | Sanctuary
