What's the Third Third? It's ministry to adults aged 55-ish and older: empty nesters, retirees, senior adults... engaging, equipping, and leveraging the skills of adults in the third third of life for mission and church service.
Christ the King's Third Third Ministry highlights the significant wisdom, time, and purpose this "demographic" has to offer, focusing on their identity in Christ, spiritual growth, and their active contribution to family, church, and community.
Our Third Third Ministry focuses on:
- Identity and Purpose: Helping older adults understand their value in God’s kingdom beyond their working years, their continued, and invaluable purpose, spiritual growth, and legacy.
- Active Engagement: Moving away from a "retirement" mindset toward an "active service" mindset, involving the 55+ generation in leadership, mentoring, and mission.
- Intergenerational Connection: Fostering relationships between the third third and younger generations, promoting knowledge transfer, mutual encouragement, and support that works both ways, older to younger and younger to older!
