One of the beautiful gifts of Christian community is that relationships grow in simple, ordinary places — around a table, over a meal, in an unhurried conversation, through laughter, prayer, and shared life.

This summer, Christ the King is launching Dinner for 8, a three-month fellowship rhythm to help us build stronger connections across the whole of our church and Early Learning Center family.

Here’s how it works:

• Groups of about eight adults will be formed with a mix of couples and singles, ages and life stages, long-time members and newer friends.
• Each group will gather once a month during June, July, and August for a shared meal.
• The meal may be in a home, backyard, park, restaurant, or another welcoming space.

At CTK, we want to become a people who are unhurried, intentional, courageous, and adventurous in service, friendships, prayer, and witness. Dinner for 8 is an invitation for us all to grow deeper roots in Jesus by making room for friendship in a fun and easy way.
