Family
At Christ the King, families are important! Following our mission to LOVE-GROW-SERVE-SEND, it is our desire to partner with parents to help raise up children in the faith. We seek to equip parents and grandparents to be the primary faith nurturers for their kids. While we have individual programs for children and youth, they all involve the entire family in some way. From providing parents Parent Cues to help carry the Sunday School lesson throughout the week at home, to family-centered middle school confirmation classes that encourage faith-based conversations between parents and youth, Christ the King is about families growing together in the faith.
Visit us on Sunday’s for Sunday school and Bible classes for youth and adults at 10:00AM each week during the school year. We also invite you to ConnectEd, our midweek intergenerational discipleship program on Wednesdays during the school year. We begin together with a meal at 5:45PM, followed by a large group devotion and prayer time, before breaking into age-specific classes for children, middle school, high school, and adults. (Note that during the Advent and Lent seasons, classes are replaced with midweek worship services.)
